As Erasmus interns at Stillgarden Distillery, we’re gaining our first long-term work experience abroad.
Nadia is a journalism student from Uganda, and Laura is a Tourism & Leisure Management professional from Germany. Together, we’re discovering what it’s like to work inside one of Dublin’s most modern and community-focused distilleries in Inchicore.
A big part of our role is capturing Stillgarden’s story through social media. We create Instagram Reels and TikTok videos that show behind-the-scenes production, event moments, and what daily life in a distillery really looks like. We also help with the monthly newsletter, keeping the community updated on product launches, workshops, and seasonal events. Events are one of the highlights of our internship. We assist during gin school sessions, tastings, and prepare for in-house events. We also get to join offsite events, representing Stillgarden while learning how the brand connects with partners and businesses around Dublin and Ireland.
Along the way, we’re learning about the craft of modern spirits. From botanicals to the science behind distillation. This internship allows us to grow our skills in marketing, storytelling, and event management while being part of a creative and welcoming community.
“As a Stillgarden intern, I’ve the opportunity to see Dublin from a completely unique point of view,” Nadia said.
